I would like to know if there are any known Doubled-Die Eisenhower Dollars (Clad or Silver)... I have looked everywhere I can think of and I cant find the answers I'm looking for... I'm looking for pre-bicentennial possibilities if anyone knows...

The 'Cherrypickers' Guide' mentions several. They are the '71-S proof, '72-S proof, '73-s proof. There may be more.

There are lots more and some are very similar with the defining difference being the PegLeg vs the Serifed R in LIBERTY.

There are also many Business Strike 40% Silver and Copper-Nickel Clad DDO's and DDR's.

I forgot this one of which only 1 is known:

    1971-S DDO-023 (ODV-101 RDV-007) Prototype

Does anyone have any knowledge of a 1972-p DDR?

1972 has two SDR dies (Series Doubled Reverse). This means that the doubling occurs across date boundaries.

While no premium is associated with the coin, it should certainly be a part of any IKE collectors Complete Variety Collection.

BTW, James Wiles at CONECA will examine your coin for a small fee + return mailing costs. Go to http://conecaonline.org/content/coneca_attributions.html for specific instructions and costs.
