Double die and double die reverse 1965 quarters

    Wondering because the word Liberty on the front of the one coin and the words quarter dollar on the other coin don't know to much about double die but neither coin looks like it natural wear both look to have mint damage to some extent.

    Just a worn quarter.

    Damage, YES.
    Mint damage, NO.

    It is die deterioration doubling. Notice how the letters have touched or come close to touching the rim. Due to the mint overusing a die to get the last possible coin from it. No additional value for that type of doubling , similar to mechanical doubling in that aspect. IMO, Jim
