So i was at my bank today, and a man in front of me was putting his coins in the coin counter. He finished an reached down for the returned coins, to find this..... He laughed and jokingly asked me how someone could of done that, and that it was just trash. I asked if i could have it, and he said sure, and just handed it to me.

So I know that there have been single clipped planchets, but could this be a double? Or is it just a post mint error?

    Looks like post mint damage.

looks post to me too. None of the design elements are trying to make a run for the edge.

Yeah....it could be real as a planchet can be clipped more than once but I have a feeling that this is post-mint.

Sorry, but I'm pretty sure post-mint damage.
A coin can be double clipped, but it would be circular in shape.
In order for the 'clip' to be straight it would be the end of the sheet.
So, think about it, the sheet is very wide, and how could there be two straight 'clips' on the same coin, unless it was then corner of the sheet (of metal) and then it would be at a 90 degree angle.
