Dots explosion

Hi,

I find a Canadian Dollar (Loonie) and there are a lots of dots... How this is possible? I never saw that before... Add pictures in exemple but there are more and more...

What year is it? How about a picture of the entire coin.
The dots look like part of the design with die wear creating what's between them and the rim.
Did you try 'google' for pictures of what they look like first? That's what I do, it helps to answer these kind of questions.

 

I agree with Rockdude, what I'm seeing is die wear.
