Dos Peso. Is this a known error?

Came across this interesting Dos Peso. Don't know what year it was minted since it is undated. I tried to locate it in the Standard Catalog of World coins and in Unusual Coins with no success. Google didn't help. Maybe I should have posted this in the error section first, but I figured one of the experts on this forum might be able to help. Anyway, it might be one of a kind so I might send it off to a TPG to be attributed and slabbed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've never seen it, but it would be 1 peso, not two. It would be somewhere between 1957 and 1965 or so. I can't imagine how something like that would happen though.

Do you actually have it in hand? It looks like it's photoshopped.

That's definitely photoshopped—the scratches and wear are exactly the same on the top and bottom halves of the coin.

Yes, got it out of a dealer's junk bin. I figured it had to be a 2 pesos because it had 2 heads. I am pretty much up to date on all the current issues from Mexico but have never seen this type of error.

Sorry but I gotta call shenanigans. The scratches are in the same place on both sides.

I wish he'd put it on eBay instead of here ;)
