Im new to collecting bills and coins and to this forum and was wondering if these bills are worth anything - a 10 dollor 2004 A red note no idea if this serial number makes it worth more but its 65955026 in like a ef-40 - a 50 doolar 1996 bill with a number of 01961610 in ef-40 -a one dollar 2001 with a 64797799 number in like vf-30
Could you post a photo fo te $10 note that is red....that might be worth something....otherwise I don't see any that are worth over face value. Speedy
i have another question i dont know if im voilating forum laws or something but i have another question. I found in a havle roll a 1972 halve thats in bad shape but has a thing stamped in on it the says MMR when i upload dollor i will also do that ty
Ok...I'll wait to see photos of the Halves before I say what I think they are.... The bill is normal....that is the new look for the $10 bill this year....so value is face. One thing you might want to look for in paper money is Star Notes....after the serial number there will be a *....if the bill in in UNC grade then sometimes they are worth double face value. I have pulled alot of them from change...sometime they are old and worn and sometimes they are like new and are worth alittle. Speedy
I don't know for sure but I would say maybe a little more than face...maybe the Paper money experts will be by to help soon. Speedy
Question: Are these worth anything? Will they ever be worth anything? When I cashed my paycheck at the bank part of what they gave me was six brand new 2004 ten dollar bills. They are in sequence with the serial numbers. They are crisp and brand new, never folded. I stashed them in my safe deposit box in an envelope. Serial numbers are something like this: bad example but just to illustrate- Wh199911 Wh199912 Wh199913 Wh199914 Wh199915 Wh199916
Sure...check out this item.....see the star after the #???? when a bill is messed up at the BPE (Like the Mint but for paper money) they take it out and throw it away and put a Star note in its place....the star note normaly have lower # on them....I found a $2 that was 013131313 and it went for over $20. http://cgi.ebay.com/SERIES-1999-20-...431147239QQcategoryZ40029QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Yes and no...note because they are rare but because they are un-circulated and becaues they all match up they would go for over face....I'm NOT a paper money collector so I don't know by how much but they would go for a little over face.
