Dollar ?

    My son got this dollar for some change at school.It has what feels like wax thru and thru the bill.We were just wondering what may have caused this?

    Well first off your date on the Camera is is set 1 day faster than the actual date...

    Second...need more than this shot to see the note.

    3rd..
    feel is everything in your case since you are saying it feels waxy!
    It could have been siliconed at some point..take images of the face and reverse again from a horizontal perspective but with a vertical view (stand directly over the top of the note to image it).

    I can see the sheen on the note from what ever someone coated it with.
    It is a normal note that someone applied a sealant or coating too.
    Perhaps a paraffin type coating...

    I'm guessing, someone folded a sheet of waxed paper around the note and ironed it.

    Indeed.,,,someone coated it with paraffin wax.
    A cocaine user did...rolled up bills are commonly used as a tube to snort the coke up.
    Applying ths waxy substance will ensure no residual coke will remain in the paper fibres, but will make its way to the recipient.
    BTW, Im not speaking from experiance in the least.:cool:
