I know the question has been asked time and time again. Im new to cointalk, but have run across a couple of bills that have struck my interest. They both are one dollar bills one is miising the the serial numbers and seal but the back is a light green just wondering if it was real and maybe what is worth in the condition it is in. Second is another dollar bill and there is transfer from another bill onto the back of the one i currently have and was wondering what the worth of this bill is in its current condition. Thanks for your help t.j
Although the first note appears to have been washed due to the reverse discoloration, the missing green overprint may be a real error. I don't see any abrasions on the word ONE, which is under the green treasury seal. I suggest getting that one authenticated through PMG or PCGS. The second is an offset error. Although the condition is poor and the ink is light, you should get a meaningful premium because the offset print is probably 85% of the design. Nice acquisitions
