I have a U.S. $100.bill with the impression "DOLARES EL PAISA".Measures about 7/16",round,right side between the seal and margin on the white background, centered top to bottom.Impressed from the back.Has a dollar "$" in the center.Came across it when looking over some of my notes with a magnifying glass.Hard to see but nicely impressed.Any ideas why this note would have this impression?I am thinking some South American country using the U.S. Dollar as currency did this.
Google translation "individual dollars"? Paisa is individual in Filipino and dolares is dollars in Spanish and Portuguese. No clue.
El dolares paisa I found this online: The Paisa or Paisas in "plural" are people who inhabit a region over the northwest Colombia in the Andes. EL and Dolares are both spanish.
