For those who care to tune in, there's an app called myTuner where you can catch this broadcast. On this coming Monday, January 21, I will be doing a one-hour bit on the state of coins in commerce and collecting on a program called Feedback, on WEEU-AM 830, in Reading, Pennsylvania, from 11AM - 12PM, EST. The host is a casual collector and has all kinds of questions. It IS a call-in show, and I plan to promote the ANA, local clubs, and even "throw a frickin' bone" to CoinTalk. Put a voice to the text, maybe.
Please let the listeners know that if they are new to collecting that coins are NOT printed! Have fun.. Thanks
The host is going to want to talk about eliminating the cent and nickel, but we'll cover the hobby as well.
If I start stammering, just slap the side of your screen and I'll be okay. I'm working with the ANA Marketing Dept., so maybe they'll do gift memberships for callers. They do that sort of thing from time to time. The NATIONAL call-in line is 1-800-323-8800.
Even if you do a bit Kurt, it's not going to bother anybody who's really interested. Wouldn't bother me.
Okay, any subtopics? We have so far: The future of our pocket change. The Apollo 11 coins. The American Innovators. (because PA is in 2019) Organizations and resources. (local clubs and websites)
