I was looking at the mint website and noticed that for the homestead P bags it says " currently unavailable". does that mean they stopped selling them due to the large amount of DDR's?

Odds are they just ran out because people are looking for the DDR.

The mint made a bunch of new P bags after they ran out a month ago. Like Rickmp said these new bags probably have new dies, without the error. Someone mentioned to make sure that the boxes have a February time stamp, not May or June.

but the other ones that are "sold out" say "sold out" not currently available. of course they very well could be, but I am just curious that when the mint found out how many errors there were and what they are selling for (because I am sure they are not stupid) could they hypothetically stop sales so they are not released to the public??

so on the off chance they struck new coins with new dies could there be a bunch of new errors coming?

Always a chance for errors. But if they know of the errors they should be more diligent in avoiding errors on this coin. These P homesteads have a lot of errors, but none worth the money of the 004.

So if, Rickmp is right (new dies) then the money coin (004) won't be in the new P bags from this weekend..

It has come down, as many do at first. The question is if the supply dwindles will it go back up. Time will tell.

The 004 is by far the most valuable of any the homestead errors.
