Got this for change yesterday, it is very crisp and no creases. Just curious if it has anything above face value?
Simple answer, not much. It's from the 2nd run of 3,200,000 and yours is maybe in XF condition. You obviously have internet access, and if you sign up on eBay, you can use it as a research tool. First, go to eBay categories, Paper Money:US, then, in the long box that says "Enter your search Keyword", type in 2009 $1 Star, you probably will get at least a page worth of notes for auction, or sale. Now for research purposes , right next to the blue Search icon (top right) you will see the word advanced......click on this and a another page will appear where you can go about a third of the page down, and check off the square that says completed listings and then select the blue search icon, and you will be able to view what people are actually paying for notes similar to yours. Hope this helps.
Have to agree with Steve on this one. The note and series is just too new to tag a large premium to it. I see these going for 2 - 3x face max, and that is for perfect examples of the note right out of a BEP pack. Hold onto it if you want (I always keep stars, so you know which way I lean ), or spend it on something better.
I click Sold Only, because this will be completed items that were sold, not just ended. Steve is dead on.
