    Hello everyone,

Looking at my world coins again, and found this coin that I think has cud? Not sure can someone tell me what makes a coin turn out like this?
    Thank you

Sure looks like it, hard to tell from the images, since they're a bit blurry.

    Could be glue too.

Hmm, that almost looks like solder... or perhaps a glue like Mat said.

Maybe try giving it a soak in acetone (not nail polish remover, but pure acetone).

    No cud, just residue.

It's some foreign substance on it.

Will try acetone, thought it was glue too, tried scraping it off but no luck. Thanks

Looks like a bit of solder to me. It’s either a cud or it isn’t so your thread title threw me “a lot of cud”. I thought you left out an “R” and it should be crud. Lol

Let us know what happens after you soak it.
