image.jpg image.jpg I purchased this barber dime a while back. The guy that I got it from thought it was damaged. I did aswell untill I came across a photo of a coin with a similar problem listed as a clipped planchet. After reading a little about what caused this I noticed that directly across from the clip on the reverse it seems to be lightly struck. The photo quality isn't great but maybe you guys can give me your opinions. image.jpg

I'd say yes also. I kind of see the Blakesley Effect between the N and I

Small clips can partially reform. That's what happend on the reverse.

Thanks guys I thought that's what it was but wasn't sure. Even though it isn't a major clip does it add any value to the coin ?

Yes, but not enough to warrant the cost of slabbing it.
