Hi everyone, I do not often post my finds here because there are usually not very interesting. But this one MIGHT be interesting. I admit, my photos are not good, but are the best I can manage right now. Please excuse that so many similar photos are posted. I think I see three areas with retained lamination, a couple of spike head die cracks and some lamination cracks. OR, maybe all the cracks are lamination cracks? I thought maybe hairs were somehow glued to the coin. These do not seem to be hairs although I have not tried to remove them. Also, I hope this wheatie may be a woodie. Thanks in advance for any remarks you guys can offer about this coin. (the photo was darkened hoping it would be easier to see the cracks in the lamination).
I think you need to get better pictures!! It look like there more going on with that coin. I may be wrong ... I’ll like to see more please...
@Mike185 Does this photo let you confirm or rule out what you wanted to see on this coin? I do not think it is hub doubling on the IGWT. That light was very yellow. hmmm. I am going to set up a photography station for coins but have other things that take priority. Hope this will do in the meantime.
I was really wanting to see the lam on the chest. But look like there are three lam cracks and may a die crack...
