I have an off center stamp lincoln cent with no date. Does anyone have an idea what it's worth? I can email a pic if you are interested. I'm new to this coin thing as I have started metal detecting. FUN. Thanks in advance.

mbbiker is pretty much on the money here.I do see one listed strangly "everyones nightmare" on ebay thats uncirculated, but has a big fingerprint on it,and currently up to $12.01 on ebay,so you never know.
Error prices are due fior a big jump because of the relative rarity of new material.A 2002 dated off center is currently listed for $365 with reserve not met. 8O and that will eventually increase demand on older coins so your coins value will be going up soon,a good coin to hang onto at this time. ~ Jim 8)

Too bad it doesn't have the 2002 date! I just read in Numismatic News the 2002 dated errors are tough due to quality control the Mint has recently implimented.

Does this mean my uncirculated 1963 off center cent is actually worth something. This coin is still bright copper no scratches and or finger prints 8O

Jess,it certainly is! It depends upon many factor's but generically,as it's a older date,I'd estimate the current retail value to be about $3.00-$5.00 in uncirculated condition, depending on how much it's off centered. ~ Jim

I've seen these in PCGS plastic in mid-uncirculated grades go up to $150. or more, depending on the amount of detail that remains (full date) and how red the coin is.

If you plan on selling rather than keeping it, list it on ebay. You will get a lot more than $3-$5, especially if it's still red.
