    This might be a very rare specimen. I can't find anything like it anywhere. As you can see the area in the circle is on the opposite side its supposed to be. Please Help

    Actually, you could probably look at trillions of cents and never ever see another one like it. That's because it is damage, plain and simple.

    Some bored person altered that coin post-mint. It's not an error.

    We have seen another example of this alteration here on Cointalk before.
    What the person did was somehow cut that part of that Cent out then flipped it around.

    Next time you have something that looks strange the first and most important question you should ask is.. Is this a legitimate error?
    Worry about the value after it has been established if it is.
