Does anyone know if PCGS ships on Friday (over the weekend?)

Got a package marked shipped yesterday but no scans 24 hours later...do they ship over the weekend, or maybe was my label just printed for Monday? I remember vaguely reading somewhere that private insurance won't allow over the weekend shipments.

I would have to see the scan to answer this. Being as Fridsy is a normal business day I think they would ship. No way can PCGS or anyone else control the shipper and they certainly can't control when it arrives.

 

They ship Friday but it depends when your label was created. If you get the notice to late in the day it won't go out until the next day. There may be some policy not to ship on a Friday if the package is to valuable but most likely yours just finished after they had done their shipping for the day

 

If it is being sent by Registered mail tracking is very slow........almost nonexistent until it arrives.

 

Not registered, just regular priority. They don't do registered unless the value is crazy high, I think 100k or more. Mine hasn't even been scanned at all.
