If so, would someone be willing to tell me what it says on page 155 about the double die obverse 1959, I seem to have misplaced my copy.
I have just the plain old Cherrypickers Guide....and it lists 2 of these.... What do you want to know... FS#1c-022.0 DD Obverse (1-O-II) Description--- Doubling is seen as medium extra thickness on the date with some separation lines, especially on the 59 PUP--- Date Value--- MS63 $35 FS# 1c-022.3 DD obverse (4-O-II) Description--- The doubling shows as a strong spread on LIBERTY with lightly notched corners on IN GOD WE TRUST PUP--- LIBERTY Value--- MS65 $35 Don't know if that is what you were looking for or not.... Speedy
Hi, The "Top 150" has nothing listed in the sectin with pictures. In the small section at the end, it lists a 1959 D RPM as 1c-022.5 The full Cherrypickers' Guide lists two varieties 1c-022.2 which shows nice doubling on the date, it says "Doubling is seen as medium thickness on the date with some separation lines, especially on the 59, visible" 1c-022.3 ha sdoubling on the LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, it says"The doubling shows as a strong spread on LIBERTY with lightly notched corners on IN GOD WE TRUST I hope this helps, Bill
Sorry speedy, I should have specified. It's for a proof 1959. I know that the coin I have is an fs-22.045, however, I can't remember the exact description, and I have a hard time distinguishing between light spread etc.
Hi Bill, I must have confused the page number, or possibly even the right book. I have a 1959 proof double die washington quarter, and I am basing my information off of the horribly sloppy notes I took pertaining to it.
