Not me. I'm lucky if I can BUY one coin a month. But I've got at least one goodie coming up this weekend.
With most of those, at least every one I have ever seen, you get pure generic coins that are mostly over-graded or low for the grade, over-priced, and you get no choice whatsoever in what coin you will receive. The dealers who offer these programs go out and buy mass quanitites of these coins with no regard whatsoever as the quality of the coin. Their only concern is to get enough of them to meet their demand. So if you like getting low quality coins at a price that is too high - go for it. If not - forget about these programs and never look back.
I would imagine it's hard to change the monthly fee for this based on spot prices, so naturally they would have to charge a lot more.. what if they value goes up would they then charge you more for that month's coin? I would love to start a fair coin of the month club and make abit of profit... but how to do it honestly and without scamming folks like Numis Network does? Would people do it if you charged a fair price for the coin? What if you provided a monthly newsletter with valuable stuff in it about silver and gave the subscriber a free silver eagle along with it? Then you could charge the price of the newsletter lets say $99/mo. and then whatever the difference between that and spot price of the silver coin minus shipping would be profit?
Deal-A-Day sites are extremely popular. I'm surprised someone hasn't done that. One site USED to do it, but that was back when ASE Silver Eagles were $21.50!
I'm REALLY surprised a dealer hasn't done in yet. Sites like woot.com, steapandcheap.com, and 1saleaday.com are raking it in with the deal-a-day sites.
