I can't tell, from the pictures, if it was struck on a sintered planchet, or just a normal corroded coin. It's obviously not in Gem condition, though. What I find most amazing, is that people would deal with someone who charges $5.50 for S&H on a small coin. That's just plain dishonest.
Hmmm....at those prices, I have rolls of Steel Cents that I can mess up and sell. That is absolutely rediculous. Even though the auction is already over, I reported the item to ebay anyway.
No, I don't believe it is real. Anymore than his: "1943 Philadelphia Lincoln Wheat Penny Error!!! A Very Rare Doubled Obverse Error!!!" Which is NOT a doubled die, but is strike doubling. He is a load of, well, bull.
