no, it has every red flag, you will probably get 399 cents and 1 quarter or half. previous ones have gone for over $400.
OH MY .. PLEASE stay away from that one... Estate Sale Grab bags like this lot is just a way for a shifty seller to selll lots of JUNk and lots of 1cent (value) lincolns at a much higher sale price.... any feedback saying they got a rare or key date, or gold .. or anything that makes his purchase worth more then what he paid -- well, 90% chance it was a shill bid anyhoot... stay clear of this sort of auctions (unless you LOVE to gamble!!!!!)
Follow the ebay rules that I PMed you. Just don't use them against me, lol. And don't ever hesitate to come here and ask advice on an ebay bid. We'd rather see that you don't get burned.
What they said... this is whete the ten foot pole would come in handy. I don't get involved in Grab Bag Anything regardless of the hobby or venue...
I have mixed emotions: No. No way. Un-uh. Not on a bet. Not even with a 20-foot pole. Okay if you like being ripped off. Bad idea. (Just a sampling. )
Please avoid all of these style auctions. If something seems too good to be true, then it is not true. You would be severly disappointed in the items you would receive.
Seller specifically said "We value You as a Customer. We want your repeat business. That's why we accurately describe the Items we sell" Yet seller cannot list the 400 coins you will receive. check out this thread: http://www.cointalk.org/showthread.php?t=24656 (E-Bay 1-Liners). I'm sure this auction could supply some more that are missing from the list.
You really have to sift through a lot of BS to find out what you are, or aren't getting, heres some: "This Auction is for 400 Coins Total!!!" "...includes coins from at least some of the above categories and may include coins which have NOT BEEN LISTED here or SEARCHED BY US." "...coins to be sold are pictured and may or MAY NOT reflect what you receive. You may or MAY NOT receive exactly everything listed above." So they COULD send you 400 1-cent coins, and really that would fit the description, and you would be SOL if you wanted to do anything about it.
ARLroxta, let me translate this for you. When he says, “Portions of the coins to be sold are pictured and may or may not reflect what you receive,” what he means is, they won’t reflect what you receive; when he says, “You may or may not receive exactly everything listed above,” what he means is, you won’t receive anything listed above.
