    Sorry but it is not a coin. It is a token. Most likely a modern token worth little to nothing.

    A better picture would help, but it does look to be either a cast reproduction of an old colonial coin or a modern token of some sort.

    Yeah, it looks weird.
    What I've learned over the past few months on this forum is this.
    If the photo of the colonial/early American coin is preceded with a statement like "I've had this coin for a while, anybody know what its worth?" or "Found this in an old box, any idea of the value?", then it's likely a fake or reproduction.
    These old colonials are mostly accounted for, and if you didn't buy it for the correct amount, then its fairly unlikely that it's real, unless you found it metal detecting.
