Do you ask for coin trays?

So far I just go up to them and ask them for a few rolls. I've only saw my tellers coin tray once, and it was filled with moderns, so I keep telling myself to save the embarrassment for another time. Thoughts?

I don't think they will give you a tray.

i look over the counter at the coin trays an if i see anything i want i say "i'll take those"...an i i dont see a tray out i'll ask if they have any halves or dollars, once a teller had like 2 dozen ikes stashed away she was glad to get rid of... i also ask for any old or odd currency....

No, I mean to look at them. I hear all the time of people asking to look at their trays, and it usually ends in something good.

I'm sure, if they were not busy, they would let you see the trays. They would probably love to unload a bunch of rolls so they did not have counter them up at shifts end.
