I was looking for the ear of corn on the Wisconsin quarter when I notced what appears to the human eye as two D's between the corn and the cow. Can anybody tell me what I have and if it could be worth anything.
Hi, Bonnie. Sounds like something interesting, but I can't tell from the photo/scan. Doesn't sound like the extra leaf variety, though. Maybe a clashed die?? Could you scan again, but this time, highlight(crop) only the coin as the area to be scanned instead of the entire page? Your chances of finding one of these would be higher if your lived in Arizona or Texas, as that is where they've all been found so far.
