I have a 1900-O Morgan that shows a large die crack on the reverse, from the left star all the way up to the tops of the letters in the word "UNITED". Is this crack ONLY on the 1900-O/CC dollars, or could it also be a VAM from a normal 1900-O? Here is a picture of the reverse and also a link to the 1900-O/CC VAM that it matches to.

We'd need a closeup of the MM

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it is an O/CC. I see no evidence of the underlying CC at the mintmark.

You shouldn't use the existence of the die crack as a primary marker for this variety since it can change from continued use of the die, but for your specific coin, the crack is not even the same as the one illustrated in the VAMWorld listing. Note that the crack on yours crosses above the body of the star whereas in the VAMWorld photo, it crosses on top of the body of the star.

One of the issues I've raised at VAMWorld, and I haven't gained much popularity there because of it, is that any member is permitted to edit the listings, and it is a daunting task for a handful of administrators to ensure the neccessity and accuracy of such inclusions when there are 4000+ listings.
