District of New York $5 Banknotes

I am making this thread a little early, so bear with me.
I just ordered 20 New York District notes that I had not found yet for the District Collection. I am happy to say that all that remains is ~ 20 more notes to complete the $5 New York Set including Stars from 1928 thru current production in all Blocks.

Just a little excited about this and as mentioned ...posting early as I climbed a huge hurdle today...

Once the new notes come in I will scan this $5 Denomination on the New York District and post.

Key notes I am missing are 1928*, 28-A*, 28 B*, 28 B and 28 B Vivid Green*

If you see any of these around, please let me know. They must be in CHCU63 or better.

Many different places...years of searching and a vow to keep some things private..LOL

Thanks guy's.. I just went over a want list with another Dealer friend and $800 later I have added an additional 18 notes...

That makes ~ 38 $5 notes I am expecting in the mail very soon.

I am ever so close to finishing this set in all blocks...we shall see. As mentioned when they arrive I will scan and post all the notes in this set thus far.
Some excitement is building within me again...there are a total of 117 New York $5s to be had for this set...I know I am close, but yet so far away!!

Duke with my estimations I am well over 90%..there are a few of these notes which I may never find like the 1934 C Green Seal Narrow Face- Face Plate # 298-303.. only 2 known stars and 4 known BC block notes..

well the first batch has made it here and I got a mail slip in the mail today that another package has arrived...
After I pick it up on Monday, I will get all the $5s together and scan em in Series date order...Once I record the Sns I will know exactly what I am missing for the set... the set will show as Choice Unc to Gem...cant wait to get these on Monday...

I've been subscribed to the thread and waiting too see these notes rolls in... You keep it very exciting Rick. Congrats on these big sweeping acquisitions!

 

Well guy's.. all the notes came in and I have been just too lazy to scan and upload em to photobucket.
I will get around to it..sometime soon.

Sorry for the huge delay.. it is just so much work as you all know.
