Just got this today, before I bid, I ask the seller if the unclear fields were light shimmer from the camera. but there it is (the smugy unclear fields) just like in the picture, but if you hold it to where you look at it from edge-on it looks clear like a pr70 cam should. and the case looks a little scatch up, but not to explain how it looks above the islands, at 1, 4, 7, 10 'O' clock, but edge-on looks clear as can be. I don't know what to think. anybody else have this problem? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=150343264700
I know, I'm sending it back monday, it was going to be a birthday present to myself. I am very dissapointed.
More than likely, it wasn't visible when graded. I have seen many silver proofs start out clean and then small pinpoints of "milk" and then the toning spreads across the fields. If the opportunity exists to return, probably you should, as it won't get better, and it could continue to get worse. Jim
Gotta always make sure that the proof coins you buy are not milky It is possible that not all of that was visible when graded, if it was, then NGC made a boo boo... Hope you get your money back
The seller has already got a hold of me, and said the return would not be a problem, takin care of business monday morning, got my fingers crossed!!!! P.S. I really like this web site, I can think of no other, where you can get people's response as quick as on here. thanks again all
