Hey guys I bought this coin in Disney World 2005 for their annual Star Wars event for $50.00 it's a limited edition of 500 1oz silver. Thing is I can't find any mention of it online or anyone selling it but I guess if 500 were made it would be hard to come by. Anyone know what the value of this might be besides spot silver?

"Republic credits?!? Republic credits are no good out here!"
If it were me I'd sell it buy-it-now for $200 on eBay the day the movie is set to be released in 2015. You'll probably get it, too.

Star wars collectors, like most movie theme collectors generally have a subset of an area that they will be willing to pay more for if it rings their chimes. Your problem is you will have to find a Vader collector that thinks the mouse ears on the helmet rings their chimes. As been stated best bet might be the next release date of the movie. But you can always hope the spot goes up.

Ever since the Empire started construction on their new Death Star, the demand and prices for these metals have gone straight up. Sell it and buy a nice penthouse suite on Coruscant.

    *It's not a coin
*It's rare and if there's not many on the market then it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it
*You got both Disney and Star Wars both are huge now
    *My guess 3 figures

find yourself some silver star war cards, I think the set has 7 cards, each card weights one oz of silver, had a chance to buy one a few yrs ago

Disney also owns all the rights to star wars now

So, if you sell the coin, Disney gets ten percent.

If by any chance there's any Star Wars themed auctions or conventions near you, you could probably get at least a couple hundred bucks for it

I think whatever a star wars fan is willing to pay for it. And since there were some recent star wars movies that came out in the last two or so years, it could be worth even a little more now than it was when you intended to sell it (2013).
