Disney Toner

    This is my nicest toner and it came from a visit to Disney-world where they had an old fashioned impact coiner. I like it.

    This is really how it looks. No enhancement whatsoever.

    This was minted in April 1997. It was the last vacation I would have with 2 members of my family.

    Whats an impact coiner?
    You got this in Disney?

    They had an old coiner which used weights lifted to a predetermined height and various dies to make coins. After the dies were set and the planchet was inserted, they dropped the weight on it making the impressions. It was an Arab Theme area based on Aladdin.

    Ahh..the magick of disney!! Stealing kids imaginations,programming them to be princess' and warriors, and minting coinage!
