Ken Dorney Yea, I'm Cool That Way...

Offered here for Coin Talk members, discounted quite a bit. I normally have my photos done by someone who does work for CNG and all the 'Big Guys', you have all seen his work. BUT, if I put up my plebeian photos without that expense I can discount quite a bit (and an additional discount for members here). I will of course ship worldwide FREE, no extra fees. I dont add for Paypal or anything else. The price you see is what you will pay. Normally when I do these cheap lists half go to dealers, the rest to astute collectors!

Most people seem to want at least one of these large and heavy bronze coins. This one still has good details and a nice patina, though very cheap. The average example like this sells for $100.
    $60

    Hadrian, 117 - 138 AD

    Emmett827.10 // Dattari7397,8 // Milne1018

A canopic jar was basically a vessel in which the Egyptians placed the soft organs of the body after the embalming process. The 'guts' would putrefy and damage the mummy, so they were separated. This example has some crud on the reverse, so cheap. I imagine one could easily remove, but I dont clean coins myself. Your savings.
    $30 SOLD!

    4016.jpg
    Elagabalus, 218 - 222 AD

AE16, Moesia Inferior, Marcianopolis Mint, 2.15 grams
Obverse: Laureate head of Antoninus right.
Reverse: Fortuna standing left holding scales and cornucopiua.
    Varbanov1377 (same reverse die)

My photo is terrible, but this is a really nice example of (what some may call), a one Assaria piece. Nice and glossy, guaranteed to be at least twice as nice in hand!
    $30

    4018.jpg
    Gordian III, 238 - 244 AD

AE Sestertius, Rome Mint, 33mm, 18.94 grams

Reverse: VICTORIA AVG S C, Victory advancing left holding wreath and palm.
    RIC258

Struck on a broad and heavy flan. The obverse is really quite killer in person, the reverse is rough as you can see but better in hand.
    $50

    3766.jpg

    Tetricus II, 273 - 274 AD

AE Antoninianus, Colonia Agrippensis or Treveri Mint, 18mm, 2.76 grams

Reverse: SPES AVGG, Spes advancing left holding glower and raising hem of skirt.
    RIC270

So what is up with the patina on this one? Examining it and the hoard it came from I have determined that the breaks in the patina are natural. The bright copper you see is original and the details a really nice EF. Unfortunately I do not know the exact details of the hoard. It was purchased several people down from the finder, and some said France, others Germany.
    $20

    4009.jpg
    Constantine X, 1059 - 1067 AD
AE Follis, Constantinople Mint, 30mm, 10.27 grams
