So i'm at the Discovery website now typing in a few ideas for Dirty Jobs. I thought about adding a money related one, but I don't think the BEP would allow Mike to shred millions of dollars worth of unfit currency (Plus isn't it automated now?)

So any ideas I can submit that are money related? Coin Counter? ???

How about the people that collect coins tossed into water fountains, pools, wishing wells, etc.?

I would think being an armored car driver or unloading slot machines at casinos would be undesirable as you're always a target.

Miners, those guys who dig the ore out of the ground in the first place so we can make coins, followed by the smelters :kewl:

Definitely down with smelting as a dirty job......Refining too.
Smelting and Refining. Sounds like a law office.

I think smelting and shredding are the best so far. I hope they accept them.

When Discovery is soliciting ideas, they are really trying to solicit LEADS for an episode. Meaning, if you want to make it happen, you need to help them contact somone who would work with them to do an episode.

    Some filthy suggestions would be

= The guy who processes mutilated coins in philadelphia
= The guy who processes mutilated currency in Washington
= The guy who services coin counters (not very filthy for the guy doing it, but filthy none-the-less). Probably would not be able to do a bank location, would have to be a supermarket or somewhere less security critical.
= The guy at Coin Wrap Inc. who services/cleans the glory WR-100 coin wrappers. You would not believe the crap that goes through the coin counters and gets to them in the coin bags.
= The guy at the FRB who verifies and shreds the unfit currency.

Again, if you guys want any of those to happen, you'll have to help make the contact to get it off the ground.

Thanks for reinforcing my theory that Discovery are lazy schmucks. I find it depressing that Mythbusters can't research Myths well, but Dirty Jobs requires it's viewers to do their Dirty Work? UNPOSSIBLE!!
