    Hello all
I just got my box of direct ship native american $1 from the mint. If one roll is P mint does that mean all the rolls in the box are P mint. I would like to keep some in the wrapper but would also like to know for sure the mint.
    Thanks ..

If you are only keeping "some" in the wrapper then open 3 rolls. If they are all P then the box is all P.

I've gone through several boxes from Direct Ship and all of my boxes have been from the same mint. I open a couple rolls and look but after that I don't really check anymore. I'm spending them not saving them.

I opened two of my Sacs and both were from P so I assumed they all would be.

The Sacs are selling for a small premium on Ebay right now, if you get by all of the fees... Welcome

The 8 boxes ($2000) ive received so far from the direct ship program

3 native american and 5 presidential - all of mine have been the same mint mark in that box

Yeah . . . underline the "small". I tried that myself a few weeks back, selling two rolls, and after the fees, etc., I made a grand total of 0.08! But, hey, I learned a lot doing it. (One sold for $23.08 + $3.99 postage; the other for $25.01 + $3.99 postage).

After that, I decided to spend the rest. (I made more on my credit card: I get a 1% rebate, and so I earned $2.50 rebate by getting them. . . . but my kids are having a grand time spending them -- I give them the coins instead of $1 bills for lunch money, and they really enjoy it)

But perhaps they're selling for more on eBay these days? If so, let us know! (And good luck!)

I sold my first one on ebay 2 days ago and got 36 bucks plus 3.95 shipping. I put another one up and it closes tomorrow. If I make a similar profit, I will sell several more...

    Very nice -- nice job!!

I confess surprised -- after all, instead of the bank rolls you're offering, you can get (for $36 plus $4.95) US Mint wrapped rolls.

But, mum's the word. I won't tell anyone on eBay about this

Thanks for all the quick replies

This is a great site .... I going to assume that the rest are P which is strange since everything around here has usually been Denver.

    mint yellow wrapped

With all the Sacs dumped into the market at cost I can't imagine the yellow wrapped will be worth more. However the Harrison $ sure did prove me wrong...

Things _might_ change after the Sacs sell out at the mint, however. But maybe not.

Bottom line serious pronouncement from me: I sure as heck have no idea whether they will or won't! Speculating ain't for the faint of heart!

    (P) 15,260,000

    Follow up to question

Just to let everyone know ....I opened another roll and it also was P. I'm going the say the whole box is P. Even though I'm east of the Mississippi river P is very rare here....

    Thanks for all the replies...

It was always my understanding that if you lived east of the Mississippi (and participated in this program) you got Philly and if you lived west of the Mississippi you got Denver.....but I could be wrong. :)

right now the earlier issues like washington, and madison. might contained P & D within the roll. because these rolls might be taken from the unsold bags or remains. i am only guessing. it might be possible. right?.

At banks here .....I have never gotten P its always been D. However, I don't normally order directly from the mint...

FYI - Take this for what its worth

yesterday - i found one "D" minted Jackson coin in a direct ship box that has been all "P" Jacksons. i still have a couple rolls left to open but this is truely a rare find. I wish this had some merit but it doesn't. i thought this was impossible but "Hey - you never know".

so far i've gone thru over $9000 in these edge lettered coins since 2007, so im always opening them up to spend here and there.
