Happy New Year! On a dime kick this New Year’s day. Going cook but post a few then continue later. Thanks all that help, and for sure have patience with me. It has been nice posting dad’s older years of coins and mom’s later ones. It’s so interesting to see what all of you collect. Out of my league and every now and then a few surprises I find but wow still not the beauty of many of all of your collections with I thoroughly enjoy. :):shame::stop::nailbiting::(;):D:wideyed: My different emotions of posts in 2022 lol! A New Year!

If there’s something special on these, I don’t see it

I'm seeing normal dimes. No error coins or anything worth more than face value.

The 1981 P may be a slightly misaligned die strike. A common thing with dimes. Tiny die, big pressure
    Spit happens

    Watch for them

    Happy New Year Pam.
I'm assuming you are staying with tradition going to be a coin collector or a collector of coins?

Me too! I had basically stopped my dime collection at 1964. So, I decided to try to "catch it up". I collect circulated coins. My coin collecting is a hobby, not an investment. I love history, so I lean toward coins that have "history", i.e. circulated. It's a little more difficult than I thought it would be, but it's coming along. I try to collect coins in better condition, but that's not always possible. Wish I could find a 1967 as nice as yours. And, I'm still looking, so, maybe? Thanks for posting and don't give up!

Happy New Years Pam! Cooking? What's going on with you today.
I'm assuming the dimes you posted are from your mom's "collection" and like the others, I wonder why she kept them, but there had to be a reason.
You forgot one emoji image.png For those disappointing posts.

Not sure what you mean but all the coins I mostly post are the ones from my father.

Nice!!!!! I guess I see things, but too small maybe or not as exciting maybe lol… I do out of my element with the coins itself. I do have foreign ones to go through when dad traveled. Some do like to see certain ones I guess. I appreciate your replies and posts. Like the one I’m posting now. I see it differently compared to the books etc. Doubling? Or wear and tear! Well dad and mom both had jars…. Mom kept smaller jars but she mostly kept the ATB and state quarters. Got my son. That’s what I think about when I see some. I guess I get to posting “boom”. I’ll tone it down lol. Thank you friend!

On the torch look for bands that are well divided and clear vertical lines. You have a couple that are close but no cigar.
