I found a dime that was minted in Denver that is smaller than a regular dime. It has a smooth edge and the year is cut off, but it looks like it might have been minted in the 1990's. Part of "In God We Trust" is cut off. Does anyone know what might have happened to this coin and does it have any greater value do to what appears to be a minting error.

    Welcome to CoinTalk, JMJ! :hail:

As to your coin, there are all kinds of possibilities and the only way to know which one it is, is for you to post pics of it. A front & back (obverse & reverse), along with one of the edge, should be sufficient for someone here to figure out what happened to your dime. :thumb: It could be worth something! ;)

    Ribbit :)

Or, it could be post-mint damage.
But, without a picture, we'll never know.
