i came across a silver dime in my coins and noticed something odd and would like some imput ,, 1963 with a js as a mintmark its hard to see even with a magnifying glass i believe its JS any words of wisdom out thier , and hi again folks its been a while since ive been here , ty for all your replies ,, pics will come if needed
You have found one of the RARE Joseph Stallin dimes... Just kidding, it's the designer John Sinnock's initials. Take Care Ben
The initials JS are on all the Roosevelt Dimes minted. However MS-64 is an awfully nice coin worth about $15.00. Ben
5 years hobbying around with coins and im still learning the basics,lol,i swear one needs a masters degree to keep up,i feel silly now , out of all the coins i have i never really looked at my dimes lol,oh well thats why i keep comming here for the knowledge of the mediators and others
