I have a 2001 dime, D mint, missing clad layer on obverse. Was in circulation for about a year.

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what they think it is worth?

A picture of obverse is attached, the back is normal. Thanks to anyone who'd like to help.

Very cool find. Kind of hard to tell the grade from the pic, but should still fetch about $20 to $25

Thank you for the reply. I'm not sure how to grade coins, but perhaps I will look into it, maybe get a book. A clerk handed it to me a few years ago, and then she almost tried to take it back, but I knew it was a nice little treasure so I closed my hand around it.

One of the best books on grading coins is "Official A.N.A. Grading Standards for United States Coins".

In the meantime, your coin appears to be mostly original red, in color, and I can see no damage or exessive wear, so based on the single, small picture of the obverse, I would call it About Uncirculated.
