Difference in rims of peace dollars

    can someone please clarify the difference in the Reeded edge of the 1922 peace dollars.

    I know that, these are actually two 1923 business strikes, I had posted a 1922 peace dollar low relief that looked very different than the other 1922 in the coin shop. The owner said it seems to have lost its luster yet the details are much sharper than a lot of their mint state coins. Someone actually replied to my post and said doesn't have the same type of edge as a proof coin. I was just wondering what they were referring too
