Hey everybody, was going threw some pennies that have been sitting around for about 3 years and pulled this 1983 one out after seeing a line from the E to the C. Then scanned it and found what look like 2 more. Just want to know what everyone thinks, should I keep it or throw it in a roll for the bank? Thanks.

They look to be diecracks. I keep the most dramatic ones.

They appear to look like the last photo.

Just for informational purposes (and not to high-jack the thread):

This is one of mine that I think is a gas bubble (that seemed to be the general consensus when I asked about it):

This one is a die gouge/scratch:

And this one is a series of die cracks:

For me it's hard to tell...because of the scanned pics. If the lines are raised, then cracks, if sunken, scratches...but I'm leaning towards cracks.

To the OP looks like a die crack by the E and C. Not sure what the others are, but I lean toward die cracks.

Ikandiggit - love that die gouge. That is cool.

Thanks for the replies. They are raised but very slight. Maybe I should check my old canadian coins lol, I have loads of those.
