I bought an expensive coin from a major auction house some eight years ago and nothing was mentioned about a die crack in the description back then. I am selling the coin in the FUN show next January and now the description mentions a die crack that I did not know about, and am selling the coin through the same auction house. Will the die crack reduce the attractiveness of the coin to a potential buyer? The coin is a 1925-S 10C NGC MS66FB and the crack extends from her helmut to her neck that shows up under high magnification but not under low magnification. THX
Only to those who are very anal unless it is a very large prominent crack, and yours apparently isn't. Sometimes it won't affect the price even if it is large. Some coins only come with cracks.
