I have a 1908 barber quarter with a die crack through the nose and upper lip.
I cannot find any info on it. Can someone help me find out about it.

Die cracks are fairly common regardless of denomination. You have to remember that the dies are subjected to tons and tons of pressure and die fatigue is to be expected. In most cases, you won't find any error or variety listing for something like this unless it is fairly severe like the 1888-O Morgan "Scarface".

First, to me it looks like a cleaned coin.
Second, I don't think it's a die crack. Most die cracks are not isolated just on top of a device. They generally connect devices or run to the rim.

    I think it's damage.

Looks like a die crack to me. And while it may be more common to find die cracks near the edges, they can appear anywhere.
