Starts out fairly mature under the S of the motto then after leaving the o becomes rim-a-phobic and turns left through the S then E of states (much weaker now - with a perpendicular side crack under the T) then trough the P-E of the motto (looking like blisters and the that would have been the knee jerk assumption had the rest of it not already manifested) From there through the E of United and out to the rim with another off shoot going down into the memorial, only to emerge out near the initial G and those notchy looking letters of cent. I wonder how long this die lasted after this coin got smooshed.
It helps if you provide the date of the coin, but I am guessing either 1983 or 1984. Die cracks were super common in the mid-1980s. As to the DDR, no, I don't think it is one.
I can't quite tell. There is glare and the resolution is not the best. I'm seeing some weakness in the letter, which is normal for that location, but nothing else out of the ordinary.
I agree it does not match the currently listed ones, unless die stage is the issue. Let me get a better shot of the S thing for you.
