If you look at the obverse directly, there's a space between his hair and the top of his collar. When the die clashes, it creates an inverse image, so that spot is upside down on the clashed reverse. Compare the shapes.
It can also be sideways a bit if the die rotated. It's just a matter of finding the shape that matches I always thought it was his nose, at first. It was the first thing that came to mind.
I had said exactly what you had - you got there faster I believe so, yes.. hoping OP is able to see it.
It can get confusing It's sometimes easier to zoom out a bit when you're looking closely, because the clash can extend past the devices (like the memorial building here) and make it easier for your eyes to connect the dots. The fact that the clashed design is backward doesn't help.
