1861-O CSA die crack (1).jpg 1861-O CSA die crack (2).jpg Hi, are die clashes rare on these coins. I have an 1861-O 50c CSA die crack PCGS XF-40 that has what appears to be a die clash on the obverse and reverse. Reverse appears to be Liberty's arm and Obverse appears to be one of the olive leaves from the reverse, welcome all comments, I will post the coin later, Ed

It's been a while since I've handled any examples of WB102, but generally speaking, clashes are not uncommon on LS halves. They're easy to ID and can be rather neat, so please photos photos when you can.

PCGS graded this at XF-40, cert #28855381. I sent it to NGC first and they graded it at VF-30 cert# 2593901-002. The coin is lustrous but the pictures don't show this, the clashes show up though.

Wait..... PCGS graded a coin HIGHER than NGC? Is the world coming to an end?

    That's a huge jump from a 30 to a 40!
