Die Attrition Error?-1982 LD Copper Lincoln

    Is this a die attrition error. It looks like a MAD, but the tops of the letters of "In God" have been cut into instead of the rim just being thicker. The pic of "ONE" was taken in case the reverse of the area in question was needed. I know "ONE" shows signs of MD along the bottom of the letters. Thanks all!

    I am not and expert!!!!
    :) but think that your right on with your assessment of Lg date 1982 copper.

    It is, Jello. I got confirmation from Mike Diamond. Thanks for responding.

    Mike said, "It's a die attrition error. The groove you see is the impression of a burr that formed along the edge of the worn-away die face. Burrs form in a small percentage of such errors."
