Die Adjustment?

    It looks similar to a graded penny I had seen on a site. Looks like there might be scrapes. I had seen a whole seperate image that was not there on a rusty quarter, I will not say what I see on here...:shifty:.     Looks like a greaser to me. A good one but a grease filled die, which is very common.

    more likely a greased die.

    a die adjustment strike would be weak on both sides

    ....and PMD that bad would almost certainly have exposed zinc.

    The Obverse has a Misaligned Die Strike. If it were a Die Adjustment that wouldn't occur. So I agree with Struck Through Grease.

    I haven't seen the reverse of these though. Makes sense that both sides should be faint, although the examples I had first seen only showed one side. Thanks for taking the time to respond

    Also the misaligned strike, thanks paddyman98, shoot... that would make sense.
