Have you ever burried coins in a wall or safe someplace and hid 'em away for 20-30 years hoping to find them at some later date when you absolutely have nothing to do? Yeah, hide 'em away and then look at the prices you paid. I think you'd be surprised at what you may find.
Chuckle -- yes, when I was in the 3rd grade in 1970. We all got to add something special and we were supposed to dig it up in the year 2000, unfortunately they tore down the little school I attended in Texas and now there are only a few of us who still know about it and the approximate location of where it was/still is buried. I recall putting in a 1970 fifty cent piece and the other kids added coins along with other dated stuff as well. Ben

I did that back when i was about 12, and when my parents moved I went back and dug up the box only to find that water had crept in and destroyed/defaced everything I had stashed away.
Oh, suppose we'll just leave it for now. It's now a (dirt) parking lot for the new school building and offices.
I had a box of silver bullion . . . really nice silver including a 100 oz block that I got when the silver was 10.73 oz. I opened it up in Jan of this year and recounted what the new value was. It had almost 75% increased in value. This is what I felt like . . . :mouth:
