Did this leave the mint this way?

This 1975 p cent is either this worn after only thirty five years, or it left the mint in this condition. If it left the mint this way, can both sides of the coin be affected this much?

It's just worn out, could have been in a dryer, on the road, who knows someone might have been mad at something and sat and rubbed it on the pants leg for an hour, who knows?

Used up

It just looks Used up.

Even if it left the mint that way I (IMHO) it would still look Used up.

Cents just have a rough life no matter where they go and this one looks like it has been everywhere.

 

As a kid I remember using an emery board on a Kennedy half to make it look really old!
