Did Mexican Specimen notes finally get some respect?

    Hey all,

I was on Ebay, and I happen to run across some auction results/prices paid for older American Bank Note company examples of Mexican Currency. So-called "specimen" notes. I was collecting these heavily about 10 years ago because they were so cool, but I used to marvel at what a bargain they were back then relative to their beauty and rarity. Seems prices on these are up nicely. Are they now getting the respect they deserve? Or am I just misremembering what I paid?

Anyone watch these over the last several years?

    Thanks,

    Steve

Hmmm, never dabbled much with SPECIMEN notes, seems they were almost always way over-priced thus out of my budget restraints. REMAINDER notes are quite nice and mostly affordable.

The common examples not so much, but there are some with amazing designs and colours that go stratospheric price wise.
