I did it again, this time found 5 penny rolls all wheat back. with a little research and info from the bank I was able to find the source of the rolls I found last time, and get the rest of what they had. Basicallly these rolls were in a vault for a while and nobody had long enough arms to reach the back where they were! until I made them do it! anyway, 5 solid rolls with all wheat back on them. i'll post the findings later with pics maybe.I have never seen rolls with paper plugs in them, they are way old them self!

Boy you really put the Jessie James to them. Which bank was that? And do they have other old change there (why don't you find out?). And help us out, here. This must be an old, established, neighborhood bank, right? Can't be a new branch that just opened up in a new strip center. Who else has these kinds of rolls in their vaults?

I might start going to your bank from now on. :wistle: Awesome, and good luck searching them! Basically with them, you doubled your money with them. Nice job, and happy searching!

it was an older credit untion, with one of those walk in round type vaults,, not sure how old the building is, but it's at least 40 to 50 years old. however I am not sure if it was something there before, perhaps several banks that changed names over the years? No other kinds of rolls in their vaults, just those, I made sure to basically clean them out in coins, taking everything they had. I have about 150 bux in cents to go through now also!. well, went through most of them, the wheats that is and mostly 40's, and some 50's., and some 30's there is a few 20's and no teens, but a flat cent also.
